How long will it take for me to see the effects of seed cycling?

Most women notice improvements in PMS, cycle regularity, or mood within 1-3 cycles (3-6 months) of consistent daily use. However, results vary depending on individual factors such as PCOS severity or stress. It is better to eat our seed cycling bars at least for 3 months.

Can I eat your seed cycling bars if I am pregnant?

No, discontinue seed cycling bars during pregnancy and breastfeeding to avoid excess lignans/omegas affecting fetal development. However, consult your gynaecologist for individualised suggestions.

Should I always start taking your bars on my period date?

Yes, it is better to begin eating our Follicular phase bars on the first day of your menstrual cycle. Switch over to the luteal phase on day 15, regardless of cycle length, to align with hormonal shifts.

What happens if my period is late or starts earlier than expected when I am taking your follicular phase or luteal phase bars?

If you are already eating our luteal phase bars, then continue this until your menstrual cycle starts, after which you need to switch to the follicular phase bars.

What happens if my menstrual cycle is not exactly 28 days?

If your cycle is less than 45 days, you can use ovulation to know when to switch your bars respectively. If your cycle is more than 45 days, you can use the moon phases to do seed cycling, as explained below.

From New Moon to Full Moon = Follicular phase bar (Day 1 to 14) and from Full Moon to New Moon = Luteal phase bar (Day 15 to 28)

How does follicular phase & luteal phase work if my periods are not regular or if I’m not getting my period at all?

Start follicular phase on your estimated day 1 (or any day for amenorrhea), switching every 14 days to mimic a 28-day cycle. So, you can choose any day to start our follicular phase bars, followed by luteal phase bars. Over a period of time, the lignans and zinc present in the bars may help regulate irregular or absent periods.

How does follicular phase & luteal phase work if I have some spotting before my period? Do I wait to start the follicular phase when I get my full flow of period, or start when spotting?

Treat full flow as day 1 for follicular phase; spotting alone doesn't count—wait for proper bleeding. This ensures precise estrogen support from flax/pumpkin seeds.

Can I eat these bars if I am insulin-resistant, as they contain dates?

Yes, you can, as each bar is designed with balanced nutrition in mind. For individuals with insulin resistance, portion and timing matter. We recommend limiting intake to one bar per day, ideally as part of a meal or alongside other protein-rich foods to further support glycaemic control. In general, nutrition guidelines suggest 1–2 medium dates per day as a safe amount for most people, and our formulation aligns with this principle.

How does Follicular phase + Luteal phase work if I no longer get my periods due to menopause? Will this still help me?

In this case, follow a lunar or fixed 28-day cycle (Follicular days 1-14, Luteal 15-28) to ease menopausal symptoms like hot flashes or mood swings. Our seed cycling bars offer ongoing hormonal support without periods.

Can I eat these seed cycling bars while breastfeeding?

The functional ingredients used in our products are generally recognised as safe by the FDA. However, we suggest waiting at least 1 month after childbirth before starting seed cycling, allowing your body time to adapt to postpartum hormonal changes and breastfeeding. Since menstrual cycles are often absent during this stage, we typically recommend following the new moon schedule instead. If you have any questions, feel free to contact our team at ask@mofeaz.com, and we’ll be happy to assist you. For any additional concerns, we also encourage you to consult with your healthcare provider or doctor.

What if I forget to take my bars for a day or two?

No worries. Missing a few days does not mean you need to restart your entire 28-day cycle. Simply pick up where you left off and continue your routine. We also suggest you to keep a menstrual cycle tracker or calendar, and consume the respective phase bar that corresponds to your current phase, even if you have missed several days. Alternately, you can also choose to begin again with your next menstrual period or the next New Moon.
